Self Cleaning Surfaces

The self-cleaning benefit of photocatalytic TiO2 is illustrated below:

  • This painted cement wall was fully cleaned in 2002.
  • The left side was coated with photocatalytic TiO2.
  • The right side was not.
  • The photo was taken in June 2005.
